Lilly is an ordinary 14-year-old student and an apprentice witch who has secretly been learning magic. She has been growing her powers alongside Hector, a little dragon who guards the Book of Magic, but things change when Miles, a young wizard, makes her mentor Odella disappear. Lilly must find the magical artifact before Miles does, and if she fails, its power could be used to destroy the world.

The series’ adventures cross time and space. The published synopsis presents Lilly’s journey as she travels as far as feudal-era Japan and the Egyptian pyramids to face the forces of darkness. In contrast to the enormous crisis, Lilly also has the everyday reality of not being late for hockey practice, allowing magical battles and student life to unfold side by side.

*Magic Lilly* is a CG reboot based on the German children’s book franchise *Hexe Lilli* and the animated series *Lilly, the Witch*. The currently announced format consists of 26 episodes, each 22 minutes long, with adventure and fantasy at its core. Distribution is being handled by DeAPlaneta Entertainment.
