The 78-second ‘Cyberpsycho’ preview released by Netflix puts Weak and Roman Carax from *Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2* front and center. The Position Weak Occupies
In the official premise, Weak is a veteran edgerunner once known as ‘King,’ but now lives without chrome in the shadow of his former reputation. The crisis in this video highlights that he is not simply a powerful fighter, but a character who must find survival and purpose again under changed circumstances. Roman is portrayed as a young cinephile trying to record stories from reality in a city where braindance has replaced movies, so even if the two characters experience the same incident, they may see it in different ways.
The World of the Previous Series, a Different Starting Point
Season 2 shares the same Night City as the previous series, but is an independent 10-episode series centered on new characters rather than a continuation of David and Lucy’s story. Accordingly, instead of directly following the previous series’ ending, the focus is on how the broad themes of revenge and redemption unfold through the choices of new characters such as Weak, D, Roman, and Talia.

CD PROJEKT RED and TRIGGER have collaborated again, with Kai Ikarashi serving as director.
