Trailer: Brian & Stewie Go to Hell in ‘Family Guy’ Halloween Special

In Family Guy’s 2026 Halloween special Happy Hell-o-ween, Brian and Stewie end up in Hell to answer for years of bad behavior. After irritating the Devil himself, they take charge of the underworld.

Brian and Stewie falling into Hell and becoming its rulers is at the center of *Family Guy: Happy Hell-o-ween*. The two arrive in the actual underworld to pay the price for the misdeeds they have accumulated over 24 seasons, and eventually even wear out the Devil. As a result, Hell welcomes an unexpected new management team.

Power Vacuum in Hell

The special does not stop at simply sending the two characters to the afterlife. With Brian and Stewie taking over the position vacated by the Devil, the space that once designed punishments becomes a place governed by the pair’s improvised decisions. The trailer features flames, demons, and classic scenes of punishment in Hell, while also showing Stewie introducing new management policies.

Kieran Culkin as the Devil

Kieran Culkin voices the Devil in this special. Exhausted by Brian and Stewie’s behavior, he gives up his position, creating the turning point in which the two protagonists begin running Hell. Peter also briefly appears in Hell, but disappears with the explanation that, in reality, he is choking while swallowing candy.

Premiering on Hulu October 5

*Happy Hell-o-ween* will be released in the United States on October 5, 2026, on Hulu and the Hulu on Disney+ bundle. As a Halloween special scheduled separately from the regular season, the story focuses on the limited premise of Brian and Stewie’s afterlife adventure and their operation of Hell.
