The work schedule continues even after school ends. Minimum Wage is a comedy series about teenage employees trying to run a local pizza shop while dealing with classes, a demanding boss, and the realities of minimum wage all at once. Inside the shop, orders pile up and they clash with the manager; after work, school life on the road to graduation awaits them again.

This project expands the short-form series of the same name from American High Shorts into a 28-episode series for Netflix. It maintains the original’s fast pace while following, in ensemble format, how relationships among coworkers and the exhaustion of the service industry build up within the confined workplace of a pizza shop. Netflix introduces the chaotic store operations, frantic rushes, and a manager who flaunts their power as the series’ central conflicts.

The cast includes Aidan Micho, Grace Reiter, and Hyde Healy, along with Julia Dicesare, Luke Burke, Ryan Micho, and Tommy Armstrong; Randall Park has also joined the cast. Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps participated as creators and showrunners, and American High produced the series. The first 14 episodes will be released on Netflix on October 26, 2026.
