Allen Reappears 20 Years Later

Petey (T.J. Power) comes face-to-face with the fact that his closest friend Allen has returned, 20 years after losing him. *Allen* is a Netflix feature film that takes this reunion as its starting point. Netflix’s fall 2026 movie lineup categorizes the film as a drama and comedy, placing the long gap between Petey and Allen at the heart of the story.

A Live-Action Film Made in Queensland

The story is set in a coastal town in Queensland, Australia. Production took place in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and the film has been introduced as Ludo Studio’s first live-action feature film. The filmmakers present friendship and adventure as the foundation of the film, bringing the region’s coastal landscapes and childhood memories to the forefront.

A Story Completed by Two Directors

Daley Pearson and Jeffrey Walker co-directed the film, while Pearson also co-wrote the screenplay with Sophie Miller. The cast includes T.J. Power, Charlotte Nicdao, Josh Helman, Emily Barclay, and Benedict Hardie. Netflix has listed *Allen* as an upcoming release scheduled for November 2026, but the exact release date was not provided in the listing.
