《Zootopia 2》 is a mystery in which rookie officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde team up once again. When Gary DeSnake appears in the city of Zootopia and disrupts its order, the two officers pursue clues to the case beyond their routine patrol duties. The released international trailer presents this new case as the starting point of the film.

The key to the investigation is that the two protagonists must infiltrate parts of the city they never expected to visit. According to the official synopsis, Judy and Nick must conceal their identities while searching for information, and their partnership, which had only just begun to take shape, is put to the test along the way. The film continues the police duo dynamic from the previous installment, while unfamiliar parts of the city and a reptilian visitor expand the case.

Ke Huy Quan voices Gary DeSnake, while Judy and Nick are played by Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, respectively. The film is co-directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard. It was released theatrically in the United States and South Korea on November 26, 2025.
