Official Mobile Launch Trailer | Battle Chef Brigade on Crunchyroll Game Vault

Battle Chef Brigade is a fantasy game that combines monster-hunting action with match-based cooking puzzles. Its Crunchyroll Game Vault mobile version is available on Android and iOS for eligible subs

The mobile version of Battle Chef Brigade brings its single competitive flow of gathering ingredients through combat and completing dishes through puzzles to handheld devices. With its inclusion in Crunchyroll Game Vault, the cooking battles set in the hand-drawn fantasy world of Victusia can now be enjoyed on Android and iOS.

Hunting becomes preparation for cooking

The protagonists, Mina and Thrash, enter a tournament aiming to join the honorable Battle Chef Brigade. During the first part of each match, players hunt monsters with combo-based attacks, then use the ingredients they obtain to create a dish for the judges by combining them on a match-based puzzle board within a time limit. Players must judge not only how quickly to defeat enemies, but also which ingredients to secure and how to combine them for points.

The priorities of action and puzzles

The game’s central choice lies between combat efficiency and cooking efficiency. Hunting for powerful ingredients can take time, while in the cooking phase, the placement of ingredients and chain reactions determine the result. As a result, the immediate control feel of an action game and the planning of a puzzle game are interwoven within a single match rather than separated into standalone minigames.

Mobile access requirements and modes

Crunchyroll Game Vault is a game service for Mega Fan, Ultimate Fan, and annual Mega Fan subscribers, and its titles can be downloaded on Android and iOS. In addition to the story campaign, it offers modes such as Daily Cook-Off, Survival, Free Play, and local multiplayer, allowing players to repeatedly test hunting and cooking combinations separately from tournament progression.
