Angel has released the official trailer for Season 4 of the animated fantasy series The Wingfeather Saga. The new season begins on Angel on October 21, 2026, with new episodes released weekly thereafter. At the heart of this story is not the battle itself, but whether the family can be accepted by the community where they seek refuge.
Distrust Begins in Green Hollows
Fleeing Gnag the Nameless and his army of Fangs, the Wingfeather family heads north to Green Hollows. Nia reconnects with old friends and traditions, while Leeli learns houndry at Guildling Hall. Janner and Kalmar begin training with the Durgan Guild, but Kalmar’s Fangish appearance soon makes him the target of fear and suspicion.
The Clash Between Refuge and Belonging
In seemingly peaceful Ban Rona, securing safety is not the family’s only concern. The official synopsis reveals that growing distrust and unexpected conflict threaten the family’s honor, safety, and unity all at once. In other words, Season 4 portrays the ordinary changes of education and adaptation in an unfamiliar land becoming a matter of survival because of the community’s prejudice.
New Voices and the Third Story from the Books
Season 4 is based on *The Monster in the Hollows*, the third book in Andrew Peterson’s novel series. Dan Stevens joins the cast as Esben Wingfeather, while Jim Broadbent takes on the role of Bonifer Squoon. Jodi Benson, Alkaio Thiele, Henry Witcher, Romy Fay, and others return in their existing roles. Shining Isle Productions is producing the series, with Angel handling distribution.
