Official Mobile Launch Trailer | Baki Hanma: Blood Arena on Crunchyroll Game Vault

Baki Hanma: Blood Arena has launched on iOS and Android through Crunchyroll Game Vault. The 2D fighter centers on timing-based bouts and a final showdown with Yujiro Hanma.

An Underground Fighting Arena Brought to Mobile

*Baki Hanma: Blood Arena* has launched as an iOS and Android title on Crunchyroll Game Vault. It is a console and PC fighting game now available on mobile devices, and a Crunchyroll Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan membership is required for access.

The game uses a 2D fighting format in which the protagonist, Baki Hanma, faces martial artists from around the world one after another. Rather than focusing on chaotic brawls with numerous opponents filling the screen, it centers on reading an opponent’s movements and attacking precisely when an opening appears. Its structure combines the feel of retro arcade fighters with the one-on-one combat of the *Punch-Out!!* series, making judgment about the moment to dodge and counter more important than quick inputs.

The battle stages consist of five locations inspired by the work, from an underground fighting arena to tournament venues. After building a string of victories as Baki, you aim for the final showdown against Hanma with ‘Ogre’ Yujiro, while special attacks and techniques based on the original work change the flow of each bout.

Development was handled by Purple Tree Studio, the creator of the retro boxing game *Thunder Ray*. The Game Vault version has been incorporated into Crunchyroll’s subscription-based game library, so unlike a separately purchased mobile game, membership access is a prerequisite for play.
