A bounty sets Vision in motion again

The Vision of *VisionQuest* is a being living in hiding after escaping those who sought to weaponize him. The starting point presented by the trailer is his attempt to find meaning in a new life by conversing with the AI personalities remaining in his programming. However, the bounty on his head brings his hiding to an end, and Vision finds himself on the run alongside Thomas Shepherd.

AI in his memories and Ultron’s pressure

The AI personalities Vision encounters include not only F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and J.A.R.V.I.S., but also Ultron. Unlike a simple story about evading an external pursuit, this setup forces Vision to confront questions about his design and autonomy. Thomas is introduced as a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s reincarnated son, and the two characters’ escape is intertwined with Vision’s search for his identity.

The final chapter of the WandaVision trilogy

Paul Bettany returns as Vision and James Spader as Ultron, while Terry Matalas participates as showrunner and television series creator. The work is the final installment in the trilogy that continued with *WandaVision* and *Agatha All Along*, and is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2026.
