Misty Green | Official First Look | A24

Written and directed by Chris Rock, this drama stars Rosalind Eleazar as Misty, an actress fighting to rebuild her stalled Hollywood career while facing an urgent housing deadline.

Misty Green, an actress who was once noticed in Hollywood, now has seven days to clear out her deceased ex-lover's house. *Misty Green* follows this eviction deadline, depicting a week in which an actress trying to get her stalled career moving again must handle auditions, making a living, and housing problems all at once. A24's official description likewise defines the film as the story of an actress fighting for a “second chance.”

Misty is not entirely without opportunities. An awkward reunion with a former colleague, a brother living with mental illness, and a film director who could lead to the role of her dreams each create different pressures and possibilities. The central conflict of the drama lies in how encounters that appear to offer a path back often make time even tighter.

Chris Rock wrote and directed the film and also appears in it. Rosalind Eleazar plays the titular Misty, with Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, and Anna Kendrick also starring. According to screening information, the runtime is 103 minutes, and the U.S. theatrical release date is October 9, 2026.
