Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde take on a case as a team once again, but this time Gary DeSnake, a snake who suddenly appears in Zootopia, shakes the entire city. The two officers infiltrate unfamiliar areas to pursue Gary’s identity and the chaos he has caused, and their rapport is tested along with their ability to track him down.

A New Case Added to a Familiar Duo

The teaser begins with Judy and Nick’s lively dialogue and a chase scene, then puts Gary, an unusual presence in the mammal-centered city, front and center. Ke Huy Quan joins the cast as Gary, while Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman continue to play Judy and Nick from the previous film. The fact that the new case shakes their partnership pushes the investigative duo dynamic from the previous film one step further.

The City’s Map Expands

The two protagonists head to new areas of Zootopia for their investigation. The official introduction explains that they encounter unpredictable situations on this journey and that their relationship is tested like never before. While retaining the basic premise of a city where different animals coexist, the film expands the scope of the investigation through new characters and locations.

Production Team and Release Information

The film is a Walt Disney Animation Studios production directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard. Shakira and Idris Elba also return, while Fortune Feimster and Quinta Brunson are among the new voice cast members. It was released theatrically in the United States and South Korea on November 26, 2025.
