Official Mobile Launch Trailer | Cuisineer on Crunchyroll Game Vault
Cuisineer is an action roguelite about gathering ingredients in dungeons and operating a restaurant. It is also available on iOS and Android through Crunchyroll Game Vault.
Cuisineer’s mobile version ties dungeon exploration and restaurant management into a single loop. The protagonist, Pom, returns to her hometown of Paell and finds her parents’ restaurant struggling under debt, so she sets out to gather ingredients herself to revive the business. The Crunchyroll Game Vault version brings the original’s structure to iOS and Android.
While exploring, you fight food-themed enemies such as giant chickens, artillery shrimp, and fire-breathing chili peppers with cooking tools like a spatula, collecting ingredients along the way. The procedurally generated regions vary in size and resources each time you visit. After returning, you cook with the ingredients you gathered, run the restaurant according to customers’ orders, and can customize the kitchen and dining area.
The game’s defining feature is that combat rewards directly support business expansion. In dungeons, you secure ingredients for future dishes and equipment; in the restaurant, you earn revenue and new recipes to prepare for deeper expeditions. The original first launched on PC (Steam) on November 9, 2023, while the mobile version was added later to Crunchyroll’s subscription-based game service. The PC version was developed by BattleBrew Productions, and Steam lists Marvelous Europe and XSEED Games as regional publishers.
