Hexed | Official Trailer

Hexed is an animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studios about teenager Billie, whose newly discovered magic leads her and her mother Alice into the witch realm of Hexe and toward family secrets.

Signs of Magic Begin in the Suburbs

The protagonist of *Hexed*, Billie, is an impulsive teenager who is a little different from everyone else. When she discovers her hidden magical abilities, her everyday life changes dramatically, and once her powers are unleashed, she leaves the suburbs for Hexe, a vast world where witches live. Rather than stopping at a story about gaining powers, the film centers on Billie’s coming-of-age journey as she searches for a place where, for the first time, she feels accepted.

Unraveling a Family Secret with Mom Alice

Billie teams up with her cautious mother, Alice. Together, they uncover an old family secret tied to the witches’ world and learn that it could change that world itself. Instead of handling her newfound powers alone, Billie must work with a mother whose outlook differs from her own, a setup that drives both the adventure’s tension and the evolution of their relationship.

Voice Cast and Production Team

Billie is voiced by Hailee Steinfeld, while Rashida Jones voices Alice. Tracey Ullman joins the cast as Ms. Quill, an enchanted quill pen, and Stephen Fry voices Elias Quire, a magical journal. Directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand, the film is the 65th feature-length animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studios. It opens in theaters in the U.S. and South Korea on November 25, 2026, and in the United Kingdom on November 27 of the same week.
